Merch Illustration Projects

These designs were project scopes coming from various brands in need of merchandise design. Projects included are concepts created for the Riverwalk district, the Nevada Humane Society, The Brewer’s Cabinet, and Purpose Built Trading Co.

The stained glass style whale illustration is inspired by the Space Whale sculpture by Matthew Schultz and The Pier Group.
It represents the creativity and culture of Downtown Reno. The retro hotel key is inspired by old Reno and it’s roots as a transient city.
The rabbits foot symbolizes luck, and is representative of Reno’s history in the casino industry.

For the Nevada Humane Society, both designs were created for the purpose of fundraising effots. The “Got Balls?” design was created in support of NVHS spay and neuter event on national spay day. The puppies and pride design was inspired by the love pets feel for their owners regardless of their identities. These puppies cruise around waving their pride flags high in support of the LGBT+ community.

Purpose Built Co. is a merchandise company geared toward the blue collar audience. They partnered with my former agency during their search for local designers to assist in the launch of their Sparks, Nevada store. The concept I created drew inspiration from my own culture, while paying homage to powerful blue collar women.

The Brewer’s Cabinet requested “Retro” themed designs. For these I illustrated a cute hop rollerskating around to match with one of their brand messages “Let the Good Times Roll”. For the second option, I created a wordmark consisting of custom hand-drawn typography.

The scope of this project included illustration for use on apparel.
